Le sue intenzioni, sostenute dalla madre, sono quelle di acquistare un pulmino scolastico da donare ad un rifugio per bambini nello Zambia. Questo gesto solidale costerebbe 50.000 dollari. La giovane ha anche twittato il link dove scaricare le informazioni necessarie per contribuire alla causa. Questo gesto di cuore ha ricevuto molte adesioni e numerosi seguaci della giovane britannica si sono immediatamente mobilitati per appoggiare, sia moralmente che economicamente, la causa sposata da Katie.
